The Pleasant Countenance of the Moon
By Elly Potamianos

Within a glooming twilight a mitigated glow culminated through the bear branches where ordinarily it would be obscurely concealed,

No ring around such an idle silhouetted profile; no haze to blur the illuminating source,

Despite the vagueness it’s unusually warm and tranquil, enticing and inviting not to repose, but to mingle and become associatively united.

Perfect Clouds
By Elly Potamianos
Whipped cream surged sporadically upon a hue of velvet with a reflecting bright energy peaking, and cascading an amber tint,

Too early to sweat or be blinded, but just right to inhale and rejuvenate,

Entranced by a perfected powder blue and captured for you to view, now and forever this visual thought remains an imprint.
